Muffin Tin Monday

I know its not Monday any more, and that to be a successful blogger I probably need to be more punctual, but here is my very first Muffin Tin Monday offering!

They are both the same but Eliza's pitta bread is cut into pieces.
Clockwise from top right:
Malt loaf, Cucumber 'flower' with a tomato centre, Pitta bread with shredded chicken, apple bunnies. The middle case has chickpeas in.

The whole thing was a complete success! Evie (the picky child) took a bite of tomato which has never happened before! Everything was eaten except the remaining tomato and the apple (she has a vendetta against fruit!)

Eliza is clearly too young to eat things out of paper cases and is still in the throw it all on the floor stage. However with supervision she ate loads of it too!

I am a total MTM convert and am trying to think of something creative to do next week. Next Monday is a bank holiday so it will have to be special!!

I'm in awe of all the clever Mummies who think of such brilliant lunches for their children. Find more here Muffin Tin Monday

Only time will tell if I've linked up correctly! I'm such a novice!!!!

My little family

Here is my husband Dan
Dan enjoys taking the mickey out of me and would probably have something witty to say about this blog business!

He is however, a wonderfully supportive hubby and is great at keeping me in line when I get over the top excited about something.

We have 2 wonderful little daughters

This is Evie.
She is a fantastic, inquisitive, persistent, opinionated 3 year old. She is really very funny.
She's beautiful isn't she?!

Here is Eliza.
She is an amazing, tenacious, grabbing, toddling, hilarious 1 year old. Also very beautiful eh?!Eliza thinks she is older than she is and will give any slide, climbing frame or ladder a go with no thought to the fact that she is only 12 months old. STILL A BABY in fact!

I will admit that I am more than a little annoyed that the baby stage has gone so quickly! One of the major reasons for this blog is that my children are growing faster than I can keep up! I need to slow life down and appreciate all the moments that make their little lives so precious.

Testing. Testing!

My name is Emily. This is me, practicing blogging, hoping to find a place to document the life of our family, which is currently passing by faster than I can keep up!

Here I am
This was taken at my 2 daughters joint birthday party last week. I make a great rainbow fairy don't you think?!
